Dandelion Green Mix Juice

I love creating juice recipes, something I can enjoy anytime of the day. During the spring and summer season, I tend juice more. Our bodies naturally want lighter foods in the warmer months. Juicing has been a great way for me to give my system a boost and reset. I’m able to pack in more veggies and feel a burst of energy soon after drinking. Plus, there are the great benefits to juicing too:

  • Juicing allows the body to quickly absorb nutrients as it takes less energy when consuming.

  • You feel a burst of energy right away.

  • Easy way to pack in more veggies into your diet.

  • Gives your immune system a boost

One of my favorite juice recipes is my dandelion greens mix. Dandelion greens are packed with nutrients and serve as an excellent sources of vitamin A, C, K, and E. What’s more, dandelions also include minerals like magnesium, iron, calcium and potassium. The list of benefits are endless. Dandelion greens are bitter and earthy on its own so I added in apple and other flavors to sweeten the flavor.

*Fun Fact: Not only does an apple mix well with juices to create sweetness, it has high amounts of vitamin C which helps the body absorb other nutrients such as iron.

Makes 1-2 servings

Equipment: A juicer is recommended for this recipe. My favorite juicer is the Breville Juice Compact. I have this juicer for over 5 years and still works great! If you are just starting out and not sure about juicing, Hamilton Beach Juicer is another top rated and affordable.
